Blueprints of Joy
Our amazing array of creative workshops for over 65s across South East London, with partners Meet Me at the Albany and Age UK.
Blueprints of Joy is an arts project that will be taking place from January to April 2024, around our local areas of Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark. Each week, previously isolated and lonely older people will join together to create and perhaps, be a bit silly! With us, they will harness their creative skills so that they can make genuine connections in a safe and structured space.
What we offer is a weekly arts and social programme hosted at The Albany and several Age UK locations where we will be finding the fun together! Through our workshops we will explore and create a story on our joint passions and joys! At the end of this process, each group will have a chance to either share their stories as a play or have their personalised narrative performed back to them from a local Elders Company. As part of this, we will transform their everyday spaces into something extraordinary!
Blueprints of Joy provides participants with the tools and choice they need to tell the stories that they want to tell.
We will explore:
Games
